Anniversary Tattoos

J and I's one year anniversary was sunday and on saturday, we went and got similar tattoos.

OU Football

As I'm trying not to finish packing, I decided to check out the OU football schedule for the fall.  It starts in late September-seems like it will never get here!!

No motivation

Sister graduates high school on Friday night and J and I are leaving for Arkansas after he gets off work Thursday.  I've done the laundry we are taking but I haven't packed yet.  

On the plus side, the house is for the most part clean-just need to dust and start the dishwasher and take out the trash right before we leave.

I just have no motivation what so ever!!  Law and Order is on all day and I would be just as happy to watch that.

A new product to try

I'm completely addicted to the Discovery channel show, Pitchmen.  On this week's episode, there is a new odor eliminating spray called, "What Odor?"  I just ordered a bottle so we'll see next week when it gets here.  I'm pretty excited about it, especially after having 2 hairy dogs inside all winter!!

Foxy's haircut

J gave Foxy her the summer haircut tonight when he got home from work. She is German Shepherd/Chow mix so she has a whole lot of hair!! We've been putting it off for weeks because the weather has been so crummy but today was nearly 80 degrees and she was seeming a bit miserable. So, here are some during and after pictures-you kinda get the idea of what her hair was like before.

My first blog post-a desperate attempt

So, I've finally jumped on the blog bandwagon. I enjoy reading everyone's blogs from The Nest and I think that it is about time for me to give a stab at it.
If you read my "About Me" section, you can probably guess that J and I are newlyweds and trying to make a life of our own. Our dogs are our children, hence the name of my blog. I enjoy decorating and organizing our house. And my attempts at cooking will probably be in here somewhere too. J is a pretty picky eater and doesn't like veggies, aside from potatoes. However, I am turning him to the darkside of veggies!!
